Hoarsebox are four guys from varying backgrounds (Peruvian
Indonesian amongst them) and are essentially Dublin guys with an
international outlook. The band combines artful instrumentation
with extraordinary four-part vocal harmonies bucket loads of
energy and insatiably upbeat melodies
Hoarsebox strive to create a warm and open atmosphere where
people can dance sing and clap their hands… or each other!
People tend to sweat from over-dancing gyration syndrome at their
gigs — you will too. The band work to create a rich gloopy and
melodic sound that is quintessentially Hoarsebox although it is
inspired by sources from far and wide
The band released their debut EP; Cuckooland at the end of 2008
along with the single Rosey to widespread acclaim
